Linda Suchak has been an advocate for young children her entire adult life. During Linda's 33 year career at the Department of Human Services, she worked to ensure child care facilities met all licensing requirements. Her work undoubtedly protected the well-being, safety, and health of countless children. Upon retirement, Linda had a strong desire to continue her passion of helping young children. That led her to volunteer at Infant Crisis Services more than 10 years ago.
"I firmly believe Infant Crisis Services provides a tremendous amount of support to families of young children who desperately need it, not just diapers, food and clothing, but also non-judgmental love, respect, and empathy," Linda said.
Linda has generously decided to make an IRA Charitable Rollover gift to Infant Crisis Services. At age 70 ½ you are required to take a minimum distribution from your traditional IRA. By making a Charitable Rollover gift, Linda can support needy babies and toddlers and is not subject to paying income taxes on the required distribution. This type of gift is an amazing way to give to your favorite charity and send less of your hard-earned money to Washington.
"I have done this because I know the valuable services Infant Crisis Services provides. My gift will continue their mission to feed and diaper needy babies. I feel good knowing I can contribute to the cause," Linda said.
